Every year, scholarships are available to FFA members with various post-secondary and career interests. Opportunities will be posted here as they are made available. Please be aware of the deadline for each application. For tips on scholarship application strategies, click here. David Bunting CTE Teacher Prep Scholarship - September 1st

  • One $1,000 scholarship available
  • Open to college students entering their junior or senior year
  • Must be majoring in an Iowa teacher licensure program in one of the CTE areas in Iowa
  • Priority given to students with previous CTE and CTSO experience

Family Farm History Scholarships - January 31st

  • Member submitting does not have to be from a farm.

Swine Research Partnership Scholarships - February 1st

America's Farmers Grow Ag Leaders Scholarships - February 1st

Iowa Corn Future of Agriculture Scholarship - February 2nd

National FFA Scholarship Program - Due February 6th

Careers in Agriculture Scholarships (WinField United) - February 10th

  • Demonstrate leadership abilities and academic performance

95th Little International Scholarship - February 26th

  • Must be a graduating senior attending SDSU in the fall of 2018
  • Must have a passion for the agricultural industry

Mark Pearson FFA Scholarship - March 6th

  • Student must have been an FFA Chapter President during their Junior or Senior year.
  • Student must enroll full-time in a degree program at DMACC.
  • 2.0 minimum HS GPA.

ISU Alpha Gamma Rho Scholarship - March 10th

  • Incoming freshmen to Iowa State University
  • Must be studying in College of Agriculture and Life Science or Ag Engineering
  • Selection based on interest in agriculture, academic achievement, and leadership experience.

Iowa Cattlemen's Foundation - March 15th

  • Received the Youth Beef Team training
  • Completed the Masters of Beef Advocacy
  • Served as a county Beef Queen/Princess/Ambassador

Jack Kent Cooke Foundation - March 21st
Go to the Young Scholarship Webpage for more information. Eligible students are 7th graders interested in a pre-college scholarship. Scholars will receive:

  • Academic and college counseling, including college tours and visits.
  • Financial support for academic and extracurricular enrichment, including study abroad and internships.
  • A guided pathway to college success and a community of ambitious peers and mentorship opportunities.

Agri-Legacy Tomorrow, Agricultural Scholarship - April 1st

  • High school senior or current college student attending college 2018-2020 school year.
  • Ag related field, 2.5 GPA or higher.

Iowa Sheep Association Scholarship - April 15th

Association of General Contractors of Iowa Scholarship - April 12th

Coalition to Support Iowa's Farmers Scholarship - May 15th
